The most common excuse for those who want to make money fast, is that they “should” do this or that, “but” excuses, excuses, excuses. Every time that I hear someone say that they “should” do something, followed by a “but”, I think back to a story which I was once told. The story involves a man and a dog sitting on the man’s porch. Someone walks by and glances at the dog, noticing that the dog is sitting on top of a huge nail. When the person asked the man on the porch why his dog would not simply move off of the nail, the man on the porch responded that it doesn’t hurt enough for the dog to move. People often act the same way when it comes to money matters. Even though we are struggling from check to check, often times it is only when we experience financial devastation that we then try to make money fast.
Discomfort often is not enough to make us take action. Much of the time the pain must become excruciating before we try and alleviate it. For instance, some college students only realize that they need to start studying once they are on the verge of failing their class. Or the person who allows themselves to be bullied time and time again often allows it to happen until it comes to the point that they are absolutely humiliated. At that time they decide to defend themselves. Similarly, an overweight person might have to watch a friend or family member pass from congestive heart failure before they are motivated to lose the weight.
One way or the other, the world keeps on throwing negatives in our direction. How is one to remain motivated? Below, you will find that I have composed a list of 26 tips from A to Z which may help.
A. Accomplish your goals by shutting the door on negativity. Eleanor Roosevelt was once quoted as saying, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Along with self-discipline and desire, belief is one of the three core principles of successful people.
B. Believe in your ability to achieve what you have set out to achieve. This is one of the core competencies of highly successful individuals. A belief in one’s self.
C. Contemplate each scenario from all angles. Recognize the fact that you determination is the fuel to your becoming successful. In order to truly understand any scenario, you need to be able to see the pros and cons.
D. Do not ever quit. Follow the examples which have been set by individuals such as Bill Gates, Danny DeVito, and Thomas Edison. Each of these individuals failed to achieve their goals time and time again, but were still able to pull themselves to success. The only failure you will experience is quitting, because quitting is truly the end of the road.
E. Enjoy your life and live in the present. Work as if you do not need to make money fast. Dance in front of the mirror and laugh at yourself. Better yet, laugh for no reason. Love as if you have never experienced heartbreak. Learn as if you will live for the next three hundred years. The strongest motivation takes place when you are happy.
F. Family and Friends are life’s greatest “F’s”. They cannot be replaced, so never lose sight of them.
G. Go for it! Do more than what needs to be done. Your motivation and self improvement will reach new heights when you go beyond the call of duty.
H. Hold on to the dreams which you envision. Do not let anyone take these from you, and certainly do not give them away. While it may take longer than you envision, your dreams are your motivation. Keep working towards them, and they will come to life.
I. Ignore and pray for those who try to destroy you. Do not let anyone convince you that you cannot. Stay away from toxic people. These are the kinds of miserable people who hate hearing about your success.
J. Just focus on being yourself. Do not live your life for others. If you try and do this, you will fail to achieve your own goals.
K. Keep on moving forward no matter how bad the odds may seem. When we keep working towards our goal, we eventually receive signs of progress. These signs of progress will motivate you beyond belief.
L. Learn how to love and take care of yourself. There is no reason why you cannot do this.
M. Make life happen as opposed to allowing it to happen to you. True motivation is when your dreams are the ultimate driving factor towards you achieving those dreams.
N. Never ever cheat anyone. When I say cheat, I am not talking about being dishonest in a card game. Rather, I am talking about the so-called money making opportunities which you engage in. I am sure that you have seen numerous get rich quick schemes on the Internet. These schemes require that you first pay Paul, then take money from Peter. These schemes are not businesses, sell no product, and are unsustainable. Eventually, someone has to lose.
O. Open your eyes. People should learn the horse attitude and horse sense. They only see things in two ways: 1) How they want things to be and; 2) How things should be.
P. Practice is what makes the big show go smoothly. We practice so that we do not make mistakes when we are playing for keeps. Repetitive action allows us to compensate for errors.
Q. Quitters never achieve, and achievers never quit. Hence, you have two choices. You can either choose to be an achiever, or a quitter. It is entirely up to you,.
R. Ready, set, go. By first being ready, you will achieve the motivation and confidence to take action. Our internal voice tells us to get a head start. Back before Mike Tyson got a face tattoo, and was heavy weight champion of the world, someone asked him why he started training at 4:00 a.m. He said, “Because none of my contenders wake up and start their training at 4:00 a.m.”
S. Stop procrastinating. Remember the Nike slogan, “Just Do It”? This is what they meant.
T. Take control of your life. Discipline and self-control are directly correlated with motivation. Both are key factors in self improvement.
U. Understand in order to be understood. Sure, you may be a great talker, but are you a good listener? In order to be understood, we must first understand the perspective of who we are speaking to.
V. Visualize before doing. I remember my football coach used to always tell us that the game of football is 95% mental, and only 5% physical. Visualization is one of the most powerful tools as it allows us to see things as they will be once we take the proper action.
W. Want it more than anything. You have to become borderline obsessed with achieving your goals. Constant dreaming is believing. To believe is something which is rooted from the roots of motivation and self improvement.
X. X Factor is what will make you different from the others. When you are motivated, you tend to take on “extras” in your life such as extra time for family, extra help at work, extra care for friends, etc.
Y. Yes, YOU are unique. No one in this world looks, acts, or talks like you. Even if you have an identical twin you still have things both inside and out which make you unique. Value your life and existence, because you only get to spend it once.
Z. Zero in on the things which you want to become real in your life. If one of your major goals is to make money fast, make sure that you do not lose sight of this goal. Maintain your pinpoint focus until it becomes a reality.
